Welcome to Edava Holiday Escape. Enter through the 7th heaven into the peaceful, tranquil, mesmerising place that is known as God’s Own country. We are a new brand that would like to create a community with the guests that stay in our home. We want guests to feel as if they are at home by offering the freedom to explore, relax or take in the culture, livelihood and warmth of Edava. The house is a newly built British inspired house, the modern finishes give guests the high quality and assurance their visits will be memorable. We take pride in our property and ensure it is clean, ready for your arrival, all you have to do is put your feet up, relax and take in the sun.
Choosing to stay with us is helping us create the community for numerous guests to feel a part of a brand that wants Edava to be a travellers focus. Each booking that is made through us, the profits made will be reinvested back into the business to create more homes for other guests where they can share their experiences through our online Facebook page. We want to hear your thoughts and take pride in ensuring your visit is better than you imagined.
Our mission is to create a brand where guests feel a part of something special, we want guest to grow with our brand and for them to feel a part of a community we aim to create. We would like to expand the number of properties in our land from one to thirteen houses, to give people the opportunity to explore Edava, while staying in a comfortable home where you have easy access to contact us for a more stress-free holiday retreat.

There is never a dull moment here in Edava, with a variety of activities ranging from surfing at Marine Palace, Papanasam Beach, or looking after yourself through the famous ayurvedic medicine India is famous for. If you enjoy fitness, there are many yoga centre in Varkala where you can go for stress relief, health, and physical fitness. If your are someone that wants to take in the sights visit Varkala Light House to get a panoramic review or the area. That is not all, you can even visit Varkala Aquarium and experience their wide range of marine life positioned in a spiral effect building.
Find yourself, take a spiritual journey to finding inner peace. Visit the ancient Vishnu Temple, home to Lord Vishnu. The temple has an ancient bell removed from a shipwreck, donated by the captain of the Dutch vessel which sank near Varkala. The temple is located close to Varkala Beach, great as a peaceful space to gather your thoughts and becoming one with your spiritual side. There are many mini stalls outside the temple where you can buy a vast array of herbs, flowers and gifts
Give your taste buds a whole new sensation, Discover new foods and a whole bust of flavour from local dishes. With many restaurants, you really are spoilt for choice. Really get a taste of traditional south Indian dishes, try anything from idli to a curry that really does pack a punch. Local buses and Transport
Being positioned just off the main road means you have quick access to regular busses and taxis without worrying about walking far to explore the area.
Garden area
Outdoor space is really something you have plenty of. Positioned at the centre of a large plot of land, you are surrounded by beautiful coconut and banana trees.
Washing Machine

Included in the price is access to the washing machine, great for those extended vacation. No need to worry about carrying your dirty laundry back home.
Free Portal Wifi

Wifi is now available inside the house. As part of your stay you have access to a portal Wifi device which allows you to stay connect to the web while exploring the local area.
Daily Housekeeping Option
Here to enjoy a restful holiday? We have you covered, you have the option to decide whether you want someone to clean the property at a time that best suits you.
Water filter

You have probably been told to drink bottled water whilst on holiday, you don't have to worry here we have a UV water filter giving you access to fresh drinking water.

Why Edava you may be wondering? For the beaches of course. You have a great selection of 3 different beaches. The most popular beach for our guests is the famous Varkala Beach followed by Kappil Beach, where the ocean and lake meet and Papasnanam Beach.
Cultural Sites
Enter the spiritual journey. Visit the many temples and mosques around the area. During festival periods you can see elephants walk the streets of Edava, it is a real eye opener into how cultural Edava can be.
Food Market
While you take in what Edava has to offer, take advantage of the daily food market. Buy fresh vegetables, eggs and fruit and really get a taste of good whole some food. Added bonus of a daily fish market where you can buy fish that is caught fresh daily.
