Edava Holiday Escape Start-up

For my major project I created a holiday rental home start-up in the south of India. The campaign targets Gen Xers to encourage and educate avid travellers to book through our brand. The aim of the campaign is to create a rental community amongst travellers. The business plans to expand from one house to thirteen house.

To bring the campaign to life I created a logo, which takes inspiration from a typical rustic wooden welcome signs. The property being surrounded by beautiful banana and palm trees, I thought it would be good to use brown as primary colour throughout the campaign to give it a earthly feel.

Another element I created for the campaign is a website. The aim of the website is to assure guests that the property is right for them. The website includes an experience page which caters to different types of guest from food lovers to those to want to take a spiritual journey to adventurers. The website also has a quick startup guide to the local area. The website shows a tour of the house, the aim of this is to build an image of the property for guest to picture themselves living in the property.

Running the business from aboard is not an easy challenge and things are likely to go wrong. To stop this from effect the brand's reputation, Edava Holiday Escape has a standard format crisis communication apology letter. This is to assure guests that we care about how they feel their stay with us went.
